Jay, Sandra, the kids & I made our annual trip to the Bronx Zoo last week. It was a great day, as always. We did, however, pick one of the hottest days; fortunately, we had plenty of water and the kids had their spray H2O bottles that we bought last year (another HOT day).
Here's Sandra & the kids on route...
Joseph.....
Those spray water bottles were great!!!

Love the lemurs in the Madagascar Exhibit
Elizabeth in the Children's Zoo
1st, she is in a heron nest
Next, she has climbed up a spider web..... such a cute spider!!!
Lunch - a very good thing!!!
Giraffes - my favorite :)
Lions..... they have 3 cubs, but none were on view - but this was the very best view we have had of the adult male & female lions...
Tradition - the camel ride (though, alas, the kids are too big to ride with Ama) - This year's camel's name was Nicki (just like my little Elizabeth Nichole)
The monorail through "Asia" -
it's a great time to be out of the sun & off your feet on a hot NYC day!
